And, We're Off...
So, OK, we cut this one a little close. But, yesterday we finally got Ayjia's passport in the mail. This is close because we're leaving in 4 days. Hmmm, probably should have mailed in that passport app a little sooner. So, yeah, this post is meant for two reasons. One, isn't that cool that Ayjia has a passport! Woo hoo! We're so excited. And, two, this is notice that we're taking a month off for travel (I know, shocking, we'll be gone for a month! That's NEVER happened before). But, this time it's planned. And, we'll be back with tons of photos. So, where are we going? We'll be in Boston for a week and a half. Then, we'll be in Ireland for another week and a half. Then, we're going back to Boston for a few days and we'll be home in late April.
We're excited. This will be Ayjia's first out-of-country experience. It will be mom's first time out of North America and it will be the first time to Europe for all of us. Wish us luck. Enjoy the new posts below. We might post from Ireland, but if not, we'll catch you on the flip side.
Our Little Kurt Cobain
So, Ayjia has been into playing guitar with dad lately (that is when Dad is finally in the mood to play guitar, usually it's drums). Mom took this shot the other night, but what's interesting is the way Ayjia is playing guitar. We swear we didn't position her hands, yet this little left-handed chick new which way to hold the guitar. Kurt Cobain was also a famous left-handed guitar player. We're not saying Ayjia is the next Kurt, but she's been living inside our heart-shaped box for weeks.
A Random Shot
No funny stories behind this shot, but we just thought it was cute. Ayjia likes to put on mom's (they're not dad's really) headbands and walk around. The sweatshirt is from Dad's college. Ayjia doesn't have to go to college if she doesn't want to . And if she does, she can go to any college she wants, as long as it's Babson.
The Cutest Jacket There Ever Was
This is the cutest jacket on the cutest kid we've ever seen. OK, so we're a little biased, but we're not backing down. Our kid is the cutest.
