Our Bodega Babe
So, the real Bodega Babe (grammy) booked a trip to Bodega Bay for her big 5-0 B-day party.
Here's some great photos from our week in a Bodega Villa.
Disneyland 2 Times In One Year?
After meeting up with mom at the end of the AIDs ride, you went to Disneyland again this year with Grammy. And, then you got to go to the San Diego zoo (Dad has waited his whole life to go, but still didn't get to go this year!) These are some cool pictures we took on the trip..
Reunited...and it Feels So Good!
So, Mother Mom went on her big bike ride to raise money for AIDs. She biked her (now very little) butt from San Francisco to LA and she was gone from you for 5 whole days!
Now, to put this in perspective, mom has never been away from you for more than 1 night!
But, Dad took care of you and towards the end of the week, drove you down to LA to meet up with mom.
Here's some pictures of mom's ride and the first picture we you were reunited with you (not so) long lost mom.

Ayjia Getting Married Already?
One morning while Dad was getting ready, you walked into the bathroom and said, "Dad, when I grow up, we're going to get married."
Now, Dad gave pause to his activity and quietly mulled over the Freudian implications of this comment.
And, like Dad always does when he's uncomfortable, he made a joke. "Well, Ayjia, if we get married, what will mom do?"
To which you replied, "Well, she can take the pictures at the wedding."
Problem solved.

What Do Eyes and Mojitos Have in Common?
So, a couple of funny stories about Ayjia and her eyes:
First, Dad and Ayjia were having breakfast together. Dad looked at her eyes and said, "Ayjia, I think you have my eyes." To which Ayjia responded, "No Dad! I have my eyes!"...OK, point taken.
Second, Ayjia walked up to Grammy (who routinely calls Ayjia's eyes ojitios) and says, "Grammy, look at my mojitos!"
OK, now we're thirsty.
