Viva La Raza

So, we finally went to Mexico. We took a cruise. Short story: the food sucked, but Mexico was fun. All in all, it was very relaxing. We'll post the long story some other time. In the meantime, here's some cool photos from the trip:

Getting on the boat!

Eating at a hole-in-the-wall even though everyone warned us not to. It was totally worth it and we didn't even get the shitz. One tap water please!

Wanna have some fun? Travel all over the world with a 3 year old. It'll make you feel like this.

And, you can calm down later with a small bottle of alcohol.

The world famous Cabo Wabo. Sammy just sold his share in this company for $80 mil.

Getting off the boat for the first time. We were so happy to go get some good food!

Ayjia chillin'. Nuff Said.

Ahhh...the beautiful beaches of Puerto Vallarta. Oh wait, we can't swim in them? Damn!

Ayjia is the coolest daughter ever.

We don't know what the hell this is, but it looks cool.

The locals will do braids for you. But, they're not cheap! Chiclet? No!

The 2nd Best Easter Egg Hunt Ever

Last year, Ayjia had the best Easter egg hunt ever. This year was a close runner up. We went up to our friends' Connie and Mike's house and had a great Easter egg hunt on their 5 acres. Our reporters were there to capture all of the action:

Ayjia hurts her...uh....Foot

Ayjia recently hurt her foot and she was sitting down crying when mom and dad arrived at the scene of the crime. When mom asked Ayjia if she hurt her heel, so Ayjia politely responded in all seriousness: "No, I hurt my paw!"

Smile Like You Mean It

So, one of mom's favorite CD's (thus, one of Ayjia's favorite CD's) is the first Killers album. One of the singles on that album, "Smile like you mean it" really caught Ayjia's attention. So, like any good song, she memorized the lyrics. But, just like her daddy, she forgot EXACTLY what the words were, so she made up her own. We present you Ayjia's version of the Killer classic, "Smile like you mean it."

"Smile Like You're Eating!"

Brandon Flowers, take notes my friend.

Your Mom Is A Giraffe!?

So, this morning, Ayjia lovingly looked at her mother and said, "Mom, you look like a giraffe." Hmmm...long neck? No. Long legs? Not really. What could Ayjia mean? So, we asked her.

Her response, "You have spots on your face like a Giraffe."

Ayjia Vocab: More Words To Learn!

Every couple of months, we amaze you with some of the words that Ayjia creates. Here's some of the latest:

Kellihopter - would you like to ride in a plane or a kellihopter, you decide.
Nipple Syrup - would you like some nipple syrup on your pancake? No, we prefer "maple."
