Daddy Stina's Nipple

100_3975.JPG

The following event happened many moons ago, but we haven't forgotten about this and we want to make sure we NEVER forget.

So, a while back, Daddy Stina came to visit the fam. Ayjia has always taken to Stina quite well but on this particular trip, the two were getting along fabulously. So, Ayjia took it upon herself to christen her new friend into the family with an unforgettable question.

Ayjia was cuddling with her and Ayjia noticed a mole on Daddy Stina's face and promptly asked, "What is that Nipple Mole?"

Maybe she's going to be a sketch comedy writer for SNL when she grows up....

My Bad

One of the cutest things Ayjia has recently spoken is "My Bad."

We were eating breakfast and she dropped something, so she immediately (without even realizing it was funny) spouted off, "My bad." She then continued to eat her breakfast while Dad laughed his arse off.

Here's some other cute vocabulary coming from Ayjia's mouth lately:

- Attackle. v. def: When playing football, the defense attackles the offense.
- Old McDonalds. n. def: Hungry for a Big Mac? You can find it at Old McDonalds.
- Sunscream. n. def: When going out into the sun, be sure to wear your sunscream.
- Steaming Metal. n. def: When going on a hike, be careful of Steaming Metal (NOT the plant Stinging Nettle). If you touch it, your hands will sting....err..steam.

Lake Tahoe 2007

We try and make it to the snow every year. This year we spent a week in Tahoe. The snow was a little hard, but Dad went snowobarding every day while mom and Ayjia went swimming.

After Dad was done getting pounded by the snow, we took Ayjia skiing and tubing. Both for the first time. Ayjia had two ski lessons (they don't let them board this young). The first was a group ski lesson with no parents allowed. Since we were late, we didn't get a chance to say "Bye!" to Ayjia. So, she freaked out and we promptly got a call to pick her up.

The next day we took her to a private lesson. Ayjia liked this much better because Mom and Dad were allowed to stick around. Ayjia picked up skiing real quickly. And, although she's no expert, she didn't even fall once. Not bad for her first time.

But, Ayjia's favorite part of the trip was tubing. Dad had never been tubing either and now I think we have found a new favorite family pastime.
