Are You A Good Grandma or a Bad Grandma?
So, during Thanksgiving (I think we still have to post about that), Ayjia's Great Grandma came up to visit. Ayjia, with her masterful control of the English language, felt bad for Grandma though. So, rather than have Grandma feel left out, Ayjia renamed Grandma, "Good Grandma." Because Great Grandma is Great, but Grandma shouldn't be left out of the adjective game.
Why Did We Not Post This Until Now?
Our lovely Kodak digital camera has been holding this picture hostage since Halloween. We finally brought in the Negotiator and got it out. This is how crazy your parents are. Yeah, you looked cute as Santa Claus, but your parents rocked it as Borat and his sister Natalia! Luckily, we're showing you the PG version of this picture....
Happy Birthday Numero Tres
Wow! Are you really already three years old. Well, the two's came and went. You weren't without your terrors, but overall you weren't TOO bad. If anything, mom and dad are just learning how to discipline you.
In your second year of life, you went to Ireland and Boston. You also traveled to LA and went to Disneyland. Plus you explored Napa. You've been more places this year than your Dad and Mom had been in the first 25 years of their lives. Nice!
So, the morning of your birthday, your Dad woke up and said, "Oh my goodness, no more two year old." He was rather sad, but also excited to see what lies ahead.
We had all of your friends and family over for your birthday...here's what went down...
Dad failed to capture you blowing out your candle. Luckily Grandpa was quick with his camera.
Who needs cupcakes when you can just eat the frosting?

If you ever feel lonely or unloved, we'll pull out this picture.
Everyone put on your birthday hats!

And Aunt Julie became the pinata-monster to cap off the wondeful day!

Ayjia's English Lesson
The Fam Returns to the Magic Kingdon
Well, we went to Disneyland again now that Ayjia is old enough to apprciate it! We stayed for two days this time and Ayjia had a blast. Some highlights for your enjoyment...
The "must-have" shot of the trip...
We FINALLY made it in the park! What should we do? Ride rides? No! Take a picture!
"Dad, I want a pony!" Shut up and ride the merry go round!
It's a song that will get stuck in your head...even at night.

Christmas 2007
This year, we had a great Christmas. We got to see everyone in our family in a matter of two days! Here's some highlights..
Ayjia with two of her cousins, David and Alexandra!
Ayjia playing Santa Claus and delivering her presents to Dad
Milk and Cookies left for Santa on Christmas Eve
Mom and Ayjia having fun on Christmas day! You're such a goofball...and Ayjia is silly too.

The Killer Express
One of our new traditions will be riding on the Polar Express...a train that tries as hard as it can to replicate the fun had in the movie of the same name. We got to sing songs, eat cookies, drink hot chocolate (all while in pajamas) and even meet Santa!
Later, Ayjia would comment..."I love the killer express!" Hmm...we'll have to work on those language skills.
